Binder Basics; Part II
The second part of our Binder Basics series is an interactive workshop that will teach you a simple daily routine of drills and exercises to perform with or without your binder to ensure healthy movements in your neck, back, shoulder, and ribs. It will cover breathing techniques, stretches and exercises that can all be done with body weight. You will utilize floor, wall, and door jamb space to ensure this binder basic mobility routine can be done anywhere, anytime.
Please note that you do NOT need to have taken our Binder Basics Part 1 to take part in this class. This class is great for anyone who already wears a binder!
REQUIREMENTS: Wear clothing that you feel comfortable exercising in. Water and a towel are recommended. Floor mats will be provided however you are welcome to bring your own.
INSTRUCTOR
Dr. Kindra Woo, DC is a chiropractor in Los Angeles. She currently practices out of EVERYBODY Gym. Within the LGBTQ+ community, Dr. Woo strives to bridge the gap between manual therapy providers and apprehensive patients and is passionate about bringing accessible chiropractic care where all bodies feel welcomed. Dr. Woo specializes in neuromusculoskeletal injuries and is a firm believer that education is the best way to reduce risk for injury.
In her practice, she sees patients that are post-op gender affirming top surgery that allows her experience to guide rehabilitation. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her partner and 2 cats.
