This index is primarily for services based in Los Angeles County. Not all resources here are specifically geared towards gender expansive and TGI/ENBY+ folx (Trans, Gender Non-Conforming, Intersex & Non-Binary), but resources which are have been indicated in the Accessibility column.

Accessibility column contains information about language support, and identity-specific resources; you can find these resources by searching each list for specific terms, such as: Español, BIPOC, etc.

Trans* Lounge hosts Name & Gender Change Clinics about 4-6 times a year. Legal Volunteers can help you fill out all the necessary paperwork to apply for your court order here in the state of CA. At the end of this clinic you can have this paperwork e-filed with a courthouse in Los Angeles. You will also receive a checklist of how to apply for Name & Gender change with other agencies.Online over Zoom!

Trans Lifeline Microgrants for Name & Gender Change SupportFeedback accepted HERE.Microgrants provide trans and nonbinary people with low-barrier funds and support to correct names and/or gender markers on identifying legal documents, and supply necessities for our trans siblings behind bars. 75% of Name Change Microgrants go to trans BIPOC to dismantle barriers caused by white supremacy. Online applicationTGI/ENBY+ Folx, BIPOC-identified folx prioritized.
